I have a little scrap of paper with my daughter's first attempts at writing her name. I also have a stack of papers from her that just say "MOM." I will never throw them away. The same goes for the little notes my mom leaves me. They aren't fancy, just a regular pen and a Post-it note. But somehow they feel too important to throw away.
